Getting to Falls of Shin
Falls of Shin Visitor Centre is an hour's drive north of Inverness off the B864 via A836 between Bonar Bridge and Lairg. Plenty of parking available. (See maps below)
From the NORTH: Connect to the A9 (A836 from Thurso) and travel south to Golspie. A few miles further on out of Golspie take the A839 to Lairg and then follow the map above to the Falls of Shin. By train, the best train station to head for is Lairg.
From the WEST: Head for Dingwall. Connect to the A9 via the A862 and follow the maps above.
From the SOUTH: Head for Inverness and follow the signs for the Kessock Bridge and A9 North
